Katlyn’s Promise was formed when a distinct gap in services for women with an addiction related crisis in their lives was recognized by Richard Lester, specifically in the geographic area of Middle Georgia.

 

Katlyn’s Promise has identified a successful transitional services program that engages women in a Christ-centered environment and affects real transformation from an addicted individual to sobriety.  We endeavor to provide a bridge from this new beginning in a sober life to being a well-functioning contributor in our community. We know from statistical data and experience that without this bridge, these women will more than likely revert to past behaviors.  Katlyn’s Promise provides a safe cradle of services through transportation, employment assistance, legal and financial care, housing and education programs. Katlyn’s Promise implements programs that provide counseling, education and life skills training.

 

We believe that women represent the heart of the home and family.  When restoration occurs within her, then restoration of family and community follow.
